Maggie obtained her BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Vermont, with a minor in Human Development in Family Studies. She is currently in her third year of the Doctorate of Audiology program at Purdue University and is excited to start working on the research side of the field. During her time at the University of Vermont, Maggie held the position of audiology assistant for two years, before becoming an audiology assistant within Purdue’s speech and hearing clinic. Throughout her time as an audiology assistant, she gained a love for hearing aids which has only grown and will continue to grow with new innovations and research. Maggie is originally from Coventry Connecticut and started her audiology journey in high school at New England Center for Hearing Rehabilitation (NECHEAR). Outside of audiology, Maggie is a student worker at the Ben & Maxine Miller Child Development Laboratory School on Purdue’s campus. In her free time Maggie helps coach softball at West Lafayette High School, enjoys binging TV shows, baking, and trying new restaurants. And sticking to her New England roots, Maggie enjoys an iced Dunkin coffee yet is still on the search for a good bagel in Indiana.
